Material Notes: Properties and applications: SIPERNAT represents a specific product range of precipitated silica, aluminum and calcium silicates. SIPERNAT 160 combines high chemical purity, low drying loss and low water absorption. In HTV and LSR silicone rubbers, SIPERNAT 160 provides excellent reinforcing effects (tear resistance) and superior electrical properties. Using an alkaline catalyst for process optimization, this product is suited for the production of in-situ hydrophobized defoamers.
