Material Notes: KiON Acrylic Hybrid Clear Coat is a ready-to-use clear coat product containing both polysilazane and acrylic components that can be thermally-cured to provide an oxidation and corrosion resistant clear finish. KiON Acrylic Hybrid is furnished as a ready-to-use formulation that can be applied by spray, dip or brush coating techniques. It is cured by heating for 30 minutes at 215 °F followed by 350 °F for 75 minutes. KiON Acrylic Hybrid Clear Coat provides a clear, protective coating for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys, ceramics, glass, etc. In addition, KiON Acrylic Hybrid Clear Coat has excellent “weatherability”, UV resistance, hardness and abrasion resistance.

Applications

Clear, Protective coatings for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys, clear automotive finishes, thermally durable coatings, and industrial, infrastructure and marine coatings.
