Material Notes:	Description: EUROPLEX® Film 99506, based on polycarbonate, is absolutely crystal-clear. The film shows extremely low birefringence, a high heat deflection temperature under load, is very stable and has high impact strength. Specific Notes for this Material: With its optical isotropy and high purity, EUROPLEX® Film 99506 is predestined for manufacturing cover films offering protection against scratches on optical discs such as DVDs and game CDs. Moreover, this innovative film is suitable for use as a substrate material for data-storage layers, enabling the manufacture of ultra slim optical discs. Information provided by degussa.
