Master Bond adhesives
Solvay Toolcoat S/T-05 S/A Adhesive tape
Categories: Polymer; Adhesive; Tape

Material Notes: Description: Adhesive tape. Ideally suited for tool surface release applications.

Features & Benefits:

  • Skived TFE tape, with a high temperature pressure sensitive, fully cured silicone adhesive (Toolcoat S/T A)
  • Can be used on several contoured bond jigs and lay-up molds, due to its high conformability
  • Its properties make it inert to almost all chemicals, corrosives and environmental factors.
  • Eliminates the need for liquid or paste release coatings on tool surface and is especially useful on composite tools and press platens.
  • While Toolcoat S/T gives optimum release, other applications are flash control, heat-sealing machines, covering of coating and drying rolls, chute lining, lining for guide rails, and any other non-stick, low fiction applications.
