Ametek P434L P/M Stainless Steel, Sintered from 6.6 g/cc Green Density

Material Notes: Powder apparent bulk density 2.8 g/cc; powder flow 30 sec/50g.

Compacting properties measured on powders with 1% lithium stearite. Sintering was done in dissociated ammonia at 1121°C (2050°F) for 45 minutes. Sintered properties below were determined using transverse rupture bars. Compacting pressure 52 tsi. Green strength 1700 psi. Dimensional change from die size -0.5%.
