Pyrotek MT-29L Microporous Ladle Lining Insulation

Material Notes:	MT-29L is a microporous insulation material covered with a flexible glass fabric. Parallel-stitched for ease of handling during installation, it is designed for use between ladle shells and the backup lining. It resists compression during operation which helps maintain lining stability. Applications Backup insulation for: Continuous casting ladles Single-pour ladles Torpedo tube cars Tapping or transfer ladles Over the road crucibles Advantages Low thermal conductivity Reduces heat flow through ladle wall Longer working times for metal pouring or storage Minimal change in refractory layout Minimizes loss in ladle capacity Reduces shell temperature Not wet by molten aluminum Reduces installation times Increases lining stability Information provided by Pyrotek.
