Phillips 66 El Mar® 3000 Oil SAE Grade 30
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Description: Conoco El Mar® 3000 Oil is a quality, low ash gas engine oil recommended for naturally aspirated and moderately turbocharged, four cycle, low-, medium- and high-speed gas engines, such as Caterpillar*; Cooper-Superior (formerly White-Superior); Waukesha; Navistar (formerly International Harvester); Dresser-Rand (formerly Ingersoll-Rand) Category I, II and III; Minneapolis Moline; Onan and Detroit Diesel (gas or dual-fuel conversion). El Mar 3000 Oil is formulated with high-viscosity index base oils blended with selected additives and a unique ashless dispersant to provide good resistance to oxidation and nitration, reduced carbon-forming tendencies, good piston ring groove and crankcase cleanliness and ring and liner protection. Highly loaded engines (>80 percent) and/or engines operated with extended lubricant drain intervals may build engine deposits, which may become excessive. If operating under these extreme conditions, Hydroclear El Mar LA4 is recommended. Remote engines operated intermittently or in cold weather benefit from the low temperature pumpability provided by the SAE 15W-40 viscosity grade.

Information provided by ConocoPhillips.

Phillips 66 Lubricants was spun-off from ConocoPhillips in 2012.
