Material Notes: Applications
PETROTHENE PM 92973 is a black concentrate formulated to be used with PETROTHENE GA 808-091, a natural LLDPE let-down resin, for use in the extrusion of communications and power cable jacketing. Antioxidant, to ensure long-term stability, and a processing aid have been added. This resin can be successfully used with LLDPE, MDPE, HDPE and PP resins.

Processing Techniques
PM 92973 should be let down at a ratio of 14.4:1 to yield the optimum 2.6% final carbon black loading. PM 92973 is 6.5% of the final product.

This product is from the former Equistar product line.
