Total Finaclear® 530 Clear Impact Polystyrene  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polystyrene (PS)

Material Notes: Finaclear® 530 is a clear high styrenic styrene-butadiene (SBS) elastomer, providing dramatically improved impact properties and tear resistance to finished articles, when used in blends with other styrenic polymers such as GPPS. Complemented by inherent reprocessing and recycling capability, Finaclear® 530 is a well established material in both food and non-food transparent packaging applications. Finaclear® 530 complies with most of the food regulations in European countries and with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the USA.

Application

Finaclear® 530 is designed for mono- and multilayer sheet extrusion/thermoforming, cast and blown film extrusion. Due to its specific structure and the well balanced styrene/butadiene ratio, Finaclear® 530 is the material of choice to reach and optimal balance between high impact, good clarity, brilliancy and cost.
