This resin has very minimal stabilization, which allows wide design latitude for the compounded. Additional suitable stabilization is required to protect the resin during melt processing and throughout its useful life. Pro-fax 6301 flake resin meets FDA requirements in the Code of Federal Regulations in 21 CFR 177.1520 for all food contact, including cooking applications.
