Kennametal Stellite Stoody® 1 Cobalt-Base Cast Alloy
Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Cobalt Alloy; Superalloy

Material Notes: Stood® 1 is a cobalt-base alloy particularly well adapted to centrifugal casing which provides corrosion and high temperature wear resistance ordinarily associated with hard metals. Resistant to galling and has low coefficient of friction.

Used for maximum resistance to abrasive action where moderate impact, thermal shock, and-or corrosion is present. Ideal for bearings, bushings, guide rollers, forming rolls, slurry pump sleeves, seat rings, sewer pipe die rings, brick core dies, pump liners and pump wear rings where long life or wear resistance is required. Stood 1 can be manufactured to conform with Military Specification MIL-C-15345G, Alloy 21.
