CeramTec Ziralit Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA), Al2O3•ZrO2
Categories: Ceramic; Oxide; Aluminum Oxide

Material Notes: CeramTec's Zirconia Toughened Alumina (Ziralit) provides excellent strength, excellent temperature performance, and superior toughness. It has enhanced performance for high quantity volume production and tight tolerances designs. Ziralit provides considerable improvement in strength and toughness over standard silicate products used in the fuse market. Due to its high temperature performance, the material has demonstrated successful application in the telecommunication fuse market where demanding requirements of 600V and 60A are typical.
