  • THIS PRODUCT IS RoHS COMPLIANT.
Description: Superior 2040 Water-Soluble Tacky Flux is a Water-Soluble formulation for electronics applications requiring highreliability, stability, and cleanliness. Flux formulation contains no ionic materials and is suitable for clean-room applications.

Applications: Superior 2040 Water-Soluble Tacky Flux is formulated for BGA rework and repair, or specialty processes where a conventional flux does not provide sufficient activity and/or requires post-solder cleaning. Flux can be placed on surface area by printing, dispensing, or manually applying the flux. When cleaning all residues, a water temperature of 60ºC/140ºF is recommended for optimum results. DO NOT use isopropyl alcohol to clean post-solder residues. Residues are water-soluble. Isopropyl and other solvents will prolong the cleaning process and should not be used for residue removal or tacky flux cleaning.
