Solvay BPS 240 format 2
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Epoxy

Material Notes: Description: BP240 format 2 is a three-part system designed for the manufacture of car body panels with excellent surface quality at cure temperatures between 85 to 150°C (185 to 302°F). The first ply utilizes Cytec’s VTF266 sandable, paint ready surface film. The second ply is made of 400 g/m2 of Cytec’s DForm pregreg, providing fast lay-up and low print through. The third ply combines low-density syntactic core materials and structural fabric to create significant panel rigidity in a rapid laminating format. Excellent environmental performance can be expected from panels painted in Hi-Bake and Lo-Bake paint system.

Features & Benefits:

  • Flat surface
  • Paint ready form mold-no abrading or reworking
  • Readily formable-much reduced laminating time
  • Versatile cure temperatures
  • Autoclave cure
  • 12 months storage at -18°C(0°F)
