Material Notes:	ROVENE® 4021 is a “self” cross-linking, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a firm hand with outstanding strength properties. This binder is especially suited for various nonwoven, textile and coating applications. ROVENE® 4021 is an excellent binder where stiffness with toughness and water resistance is required. It also accepts high filler loads of calcium carbonate, clays, and alumina trihydrate and still retains excellent tensile strength. ROVENE® 4021 is cross-linkable with external crosslinking agents, which will improve the solvent resistance of treated substrates. APPLICATIONS: ROVENE® 4021 is recommended for applications in textile and needle-punch backcoating. This hydrophobic emulsion is also recommended as a primary binder for industrial and household floor care and scrub pads as well as for bonding wet wipes, industrial wipes and filters.
