Material Notes: Description: Chesterton® 730 Spragrip® is a premium quality, high performance belt dressing that will add up to 50% more pulling power and end belt slippage for all V, flat and round belts. 730 Spragrip differs from most other belt dressings in that it produces immediate results that are not lost due to aging, oxidizing, hardening or drying out. Its nonslip surface is retained by just an occasional further application. Slippage of belts not only reduces the life of a belt but also results in a loss of energy because power does not get transferred efficiently to equipment. Although any tack surface would minimize slippage, a tack material would stick to pulleys and require more energy for release. Chesterton 730 Spragrip delivers a non-tack material with a high coefficient of friction. This provides the most energy efficient, non-slip surface for all belt-dressing needs.
