ChevronTexaco Havoline® ATF+3® Automatic Transmission Fluid
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Havoline Automatic Transmission Fluid ATF+3 delivers value through:
  • Correct viscosity and frictional characteristics to ensure smooth operation in Chrysler transmissions.
  • Long-lasting viscosity modifiers for longer fluid life.

Havoline Automatic Transmission Fluid ATF+3 is designed specifically for use in Chrysler® automatic transmissions and automatic transaxles where a Mopar ATF PLUS®, ATF+2® or ATF+3® fluid is specified.

Havoline Automatic Transmission Fluid ATF+3 is designed to maintain its viscosity through excellent oxidation stability and use of long lasting viscosity modifiers.

It has improved low temperature fluidity and viscosity breakdown performance over previous generation Chrysler ATF fluids.

Havoline Automatic Transmission Fluid ATF+3 is specially formulated to give full protection in all critical areas of Chrysler transmission operation.

Havoline Automatic Transmission Fluid ATF+3:

  • Lubricates and prevents wear in gears, clutches, and bearings.
  • Transfers engine power effectively
  • Serves as a hydraulic fluid for the shift control system
  • Removes heat efficiently
  • Operates well over a wide temperature range
  • Resists thermal and oxidative breakdown
  • Provides sufficient viscosity at high temperatures with minimal sheardown
  • Gives proper friction performance for Chrysler vehicles (smooth shift feel, no shudder)
  • Protects seals, gaskets, and other nonferrous components
  • Prevents sludge and varnish formation
  • Resists foaming

Havoline Automatic Transmission Fluid ATF+3 is designed for use in all Chrysler automatic transmissions and automatic transaxles where a Mopar ATF PLUS, ATF+2 or ATF+3 fluid is specified.

It is not recommended for use in transmissions specifying either DEXRON® or MERCON® type fluids2.

Havoline Automatic Transmission Fluid ATF+3 has been registered with the Chrysler Corporation.

Typical test data are average values only. Minor variations which do not affect product performance are to be expected in normal manufacturing.

Notes:

  1. Chrysler, Mopar ATF PLUS, ATF+2, and ATF+3 are registered trademarks of DaimlerChrysler.
  2. DEXRON is a registered trademark of General Motors Corporation.
  3. MERCON is a registered trademark of Ford Motor Company.
