Solvay LTM® 24ST Resin Matrix

Material Notes: Description: LTM 24ST is a controlled rheology resin matrix used for the surfacing ply of components molded from LTM20 series prepregs. The surface ply is partially impregnated to give asymmetric tack. It ensures a flaw-free, smooth surface and a low void content laminate under oven and vacuum bag molding conditions.

Features & Benefits:

  • 2 days out life at 21°C (70°F)
  • 6 months storage at -18°C (0°F)
  • Low initial cure temperatures from 50 to 60°C(122 to 140°F)
  • Ability to cure rapidly at conventional temperatures
  • Cure compatible with LTM26 and 26EL pregregs
  • High quality components with excellent aesthetic finish can be made from low cost and low temperature molds
  • Service temperatures under load up to 100°C (212°F)
