Characterization: Arcol E-351 polyether polyol is a 2,800-molecular-weight polypropylene oxide-based diol specially modified with ethylene oxide. Properties / Applications: Because Arcol E-351 contains a high percentage of primary hydroxyl groups, it has a relatively high rate of reactivity. It is compatible with most polyether polyols and can be blended with other diols, triols, and polymer polyols to achieve desirable modifications of product properties. Arcol E-351 polyol is used in the production of solid and microcellular elastomers and semi-rigid and flexible foams. Typical applications include sealants, caulks, froth foams, and elastomers. As with any product, the use of Arcol E-351 polyol in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
