Thermal Ceramics FireMaster MarineLite®
Categories: Ceramic

Material Notes: Thermal Ceramics FireMaster MarineLite, a thin, ultra light high performance microporous insulation composite, consists of an outer glass cloth encapsulating a microporous core. The system is joined together by a one-inch to four inch square or parallel-stitched quilting pattern. The quilting not only holds the composite together but also maintains core distribution so the insulation can be wrapped or bent to conform to unique geometric shapes such as beams and stiffeners.

Vibration resistance is enhanced by the use of reinforcing fiber within the core material. Combined with the lockstitched quilting, this product provides resistance to vibration.

Features:

  • Ultra lightweight flexible panel
  • Compression resistant
  • Easy to install
  • Exterior glass cloth surface provides mechanical abrasion resistance, flexural strength, bonding adhesion, and low weight
  • High performance and low density
  • Applications:

  • Marine fire protection and Marine OEM applications where weight and space for insulation are limited
  • Aluminum/steel bulkhead and decks
  • OEM doors
  • Thermal exhaust pipes
