Material Notes: HB2 is an Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene fiber based composite laminate for low weight hard armor applications. A roll of product consists of four single layers of unidirectional sheet cross plied at 90 degrees to each other and consolidated with a rubber based matrix. HB2 produced in the United Stated of America complies with the provisions of the United States Code (USC) Title 10, Subchapter V, § 2533a (The Berry Amendment). HB2 is subject to jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of Commerce, and is exported using Export Control (No Suggestions) Number (ECCN) 1C990. Restrictions may therefore apply to the export and re-export of this product.
