Material Notes:	SARAN® 469 barrier polymer with a molecular weight of 83000, is a copolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride, designed for cast film extrusion and coextrusion into barrier films used in flexible packaging applications for food. It is supplied as a white, minimally formulated, free flowing powder (particle size 300 microns). It offers excellent oxygen and water vapor barrier and complies with the requirements of FDA for use as a component of articles in contact with food. SK Global Chemical has purchased the SARAN® resin business from Dow.
