Material Notes: Thermoseal RG-S160 offers exceptional sealability and crush resistance in a wide range of applications. RG-S160 is composed of a blend of aramid, mineral, and cellulose fibers and graphite and other inorganic fillers with a styrene butadiene binder. A factory applied release coating on both sides aids in flange removal. Continuous roll lengths allow efficient and economical fabrication with high speed die cutting equipment. Typical applications range from power sport and other small engine gaskets to heavy duty diesel service with intermittent operating temperatures up to 550° F (288° C).
