Dover Chemical MAYSPERM 2011LV Sulfurized Sperm Oil Substitute, Non-Staining Sulfurized Additive
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: Maysperm 2011-LV is a lower viscosity version of Maysperm 2011. Maysperm 2011-LV is a cost-effective way of incorporating sulfur EP properties into a cutting oil where the final viscosity of the product is critical and must be on the low side for the desired application. Such operations requiring these characteristics might be honing, grinding, and trepanning. Maysperm 2011-LV can be incorporated into naphthenic base oils with another low viscosity additive, Mayco Base 1540 (sulfurized olefin with active sulfur) to address a variety of severe metalworking operations, such as pipe threading.
