Hifax polypropylene resins based on the Catalloy process from LyondellBasell are used by customers in applications such as building and construction (e.g., single-ply roofing), industrial applications (e.g., wire and cable) and also automotive industries through both our resins and our well-known Hifax polypropylene compounds. Hifax is proven to provide customers with good processability, excellent impact resistance, a broad range of stiffness from very soft to rigid products, high temperature resistance and low linear coefficient of thermal expansion. Hifax TYC 900P is a 15% talc filled elastomer modified PP, with superior flowability, excellent impact/stiffness balance, very good UV resistance and very good surface appearance. Formula is improved to offer better aspect, especially on tiger stripes. It has been designed using the latest advancements in resin synthesis and compounding technology. This grade is delivered in customer customized colors, this Data Sheet is giving general properties, some of them may be slightly altered upon color selected.
