Uniplex DIDS is a low-volatile, low-temperature flexible plasticizer for different polymers e.g. PVC, NBR and HNBR. Chemical composition: Di-isodecyl Sebacate (DIDS) CAS reg. no.: 28473-19-0 General Uniplex DIDS combines good low temperature plasticizing performance and low volatility. Uniplex DIDS is - compatible with a variety of polymers including nitrile rubber (NBR), hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
- an efficient low-temperature resistance plasticizer for several polymers.
- a low-volatile monomeric plasticizer, in particular compared to other linear dibasic acid ester low-temperature flexibility specialists.
Applications: Uniplex DIDS was developed for use in application where a good low-temperature flexibility is required, together with a low volatility. Uniplex DIDS is particularly suitable for PVC goods which need to be relatively hard, but must retain their flexibility at low temperatures and also require a good lightfastness. The special characteristics mentioned above enable Uniplex DIDS to be used widely in the manufacture of wire and cable coverings, films, protective clothing, coatings and injection molded goods.Information provided by Lanxess. |
