Material Notes:	SKAMOLEX customized shapes have the following characteristics: Max. service temperature: Up to 1150°C (2102°F) Hot-face applications or back-up insulation A large variety of specialized and versatile highly insulating refractory panels and shapes made of vermiculite Resistant to high temperatures, withstand direct flame impingement Good electrical resistivity Customized designs: Special shapes or panels, surface pattern and two-dimensional effects Available in various combinations of bulk density, insulation properties and compressive strength Have a myriad of uses and are ideally suited for lining hearth and heating appliances such as fireplaces, gasfires and stoves as well as night storage heaters, domestic boilers, and cooking appliances Also used in high temperature industries where special designs are required, possibly in combination with calcium silicate slabs.
