Material Notes: Description: Chesterton® 801 Industrial & Marine Solvent is an industrial strength, multiple purpose, water based degreaser. It is an easy to use product that can be applied with sprayers, foamers, steam cleaners, sponge, mop or brush. Applications for 801 Industrial & Marine Solvent (IMS) can be found almost everywhere. It removes cooling and cutting oils prior to inspection, assembly, and shipping. 801 IMS neatly cleans tanks, engines, motors, tools and working areas. It does an excellent job flushing coolant systems. When used in marine applications, it efficiently removes rot, mildew and other fungi from hulls. An ideal bilge cleaner, it emulsifies and combines with oil, grease, gasoline, chemicals, sludge and fuel to lift and remove them from surfaces. 801 IMS is NSF registered for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants, It can be used to clean food processing equipment, bottling machines and wax and grease from vents, stoves, hoods and ovens. Chesterton 801 Industrial & Marine Solvent is truly a versatile and economical multi-surface cleaner and degreaser.
