Oceanchem Group 2,2-Dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide (DBNPA)
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: Molecular Formula: C3H2Br2N2O

Cas No.: 10222-01-2

Features: DBNPA is white crystal powder, may dissolve in acetone, polyethylene glycol, benzene, ethanol, etc, organic solvent, slightly dissolved in water. Its aqueous solution is stable on acid condition, easy to decompose on alkaline condition, and also decompose under the action of hydrosulfuric acid. As a kind of wide spectrum, high efficiency germicide, it can quickly penetrate through cell membrane of micro-organism, act on some protein gene to stop the cell's normal oxidation and reduction and lead to death of cell. This product has the good quality of peeling, no foam when used and can be dissolved in any proportion in water.

Usage: DBNPA is a kind of wide-spectrum, high efficiency industrial germicide, it can be used to prevent propagation of germ and algae in the field of paper making, industry circulation water, metal processing lubricant. Paper pulp, timber, paint and laminated wood, and can also be used as adhesive mud controlling agent, widely used in paper making plant's paper pulp and water circulation cooling system.
