Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials TIVAR® VMX UHMW-PE FG Food Grade Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); High Density (HDPE); UHMW PE (Ultra High Molecular Weight PE)

Material Notes: TIVAR® VMX Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene UHMW-PE FG (Food Grade) is a visual, metal, and x-ray detectable grade that offers excellent toughness, impact strength, wear and abrasion resistance. Due to the addition of specific additives to this formulation, it can be easily traced by conventional metal and x-ray detection systems, making it a favored solution for the global food processing and packaging industry. As a EU 10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR § 177.1520 compliant material TIVAR® VMX UHMW-PE FG allows food processors and packagers to gain the efficiencies that polymer materials provide, while also preventing potential foreign contamination issues that can lead to costly recalls. Its exceptional impact strength, wear and abrasion resistance, makes TIVAR® VMX UHMW-PE FG a favorable solution for scrapers, paddles, seals, thrust washers, rollers, and bushings.
