Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Nylatron® VMX PA6 FG Food Grade Nylon 6
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA); Nylon 6 (PA6); Nylon 6, Unreinforced

Material Notes: Nylatron® VMX Polyamide FG (Food Grade) PA6 is a visual, metal, and x-ray detectable grade that offers good mechanical strength, stiffness, impact strength and wear resistance . Due to the addition of specific additives to this formulation, it can be easily traced by conventional metal and x-ray detection systems, making it a favored solution for the global food processing and packaging industry. As a EU 10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR § 177.1500 compliant material, Nylatron® VMX PA6 FG allows food processors and packagers to gain the efficiencies that polymer materials provide, while also preventing potential foreign contamination issues that can lead to costly recalls. Its good mechanical strength, stiffness, impact strength and wear resistance makes Nylatron® VMX PA6 FG especially suited for wear and friction applications in the food Industry.
