Evonik VESTOWAX® SP 1024 Fischer-Tropsch Wax
Categories: Polymer

Material Notes: VESTOWAX is synthetic waxes produced essentially by two different processes, the Ziegler polymerization and the Fischer-Tropsch process. The Ziegler polymerization of ethylene synthesizes polyethylene waxes with different densities and molecular weights depending on the preparation conditions. The Fischer Tropsch process yields straight chain products possessing low viscosity in the melt and having molecular weights between 500 and 1000g/mol. This formulation is a hard paraffin.
