Material Notes: AL 822 is a low temperature solder ideal for brazing or soldering aluminum to aluminum or aluminum to copper. Non corrosive flux does not require removal after brazing. It is ideal for open air heating methods and very easy to use for aluminum brazing in HVAC/R applications. Joins AL to AL, Joins AL to CU, Highest joint ductility of the entire Sil-Fos family, Best alloy to withstand the stresses inherent in refrigerant application, Slow flow, Can bridge gaps. Applications: HVAC and refrigeration repair work, patching holes in aluminum coils in automotive units.
