Cosmetic parts molded from Selenis Venuz BD 287 provide good chemical resistance to most ingredients used in the industry as well as good barrier properties, helping brand owners grant product safety and preservation during storage. Packaging cost may be reduced as shelf life can be maintained even without the use of additional liners. The superior clarity of Selenis Venuz BD 287 grade allows packaging engineers to design parts with thick walls without sacrificing transparency. The combination of density and thick walls increases the weight of the package, reinforcing the consumer perception of a high-end product. Selenis Venuz BD 287 provides good impact resistance, resembling the appearance of glass with the advantage of being virtually unbreakable, allowing unique and personalized designs.
