| Product description: Coco pentaethoxy methyl ammonium metho-sulfate Application: REWOQUAT® CPEM is used as antistatic agent in various textile applications. Besides, it is used as cationic emulsifier or co-emulsifier alone or in combination with non-ionic emulsifiers. Properties / Benefits: REWOQUAT® CPEM is a highly concentrated, liquid cationic antistatic agent. REWOQUAT® CPEM does not contain any flammable solvent. It is strongly substantive, low-foaming and has emulsifying properties. REWOQUAT® CPEM is compatible with non-ionics, amphoterics and other cationics. With anionic surfactants, REWOQUAT® CPEM usually forms soluble ion pairs. The compatibility of REWOQUAT® CPEM with anionic surfactants has to be checked for each particular case. REWOQUAT® CPEM exhibits good stability versus acids, alkalis, electrolytes and hardness salts in conditions currently encountered in practice. REWOQUAT® CPEM is stable to hydrolysis, has a good heat stability and an outstanding tolerance versus calcium ions. REWOQUAT® CPEM is clearly soluble in cold and warm water up to concentrations of 20 - 30 %. It is soluble in hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons at low concentrations (about 5 to 10 %).
