Master Bond MasterSil 709 One Part Silicone Meets MIL Spec

Material Notes: Description: MasterSil 709 is an easy to use, one component, high performance silicone elastomer compound for bonding, sealing, coating and formed in place gaskets. This unique product meets the MIL-A-46146 specification. It is non-corrosive, fast setting and flowable. It can be widely used for many applications, particularly in aerospace and electronics. MasterSil 709 bonds well to a wide variety of substrates. The rapidity of the cure depends on the thickness of the layer and the humidity; the thicker the layer the slower the cure. MasterSil 709 is serviceable over the broad temperature range of -75°F to +400°F. MasterSil 709 has a moderate viscosity with good flow properties that can also be used as a conformal coating for electronics. Its color is translucent.
