Materion AMC4632 Aluminum Silicon Alloy, T6  (discontinued **)
Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Aluminum Alloy

Material Notes: AMC4632 is a high quality hyper-eutectic aluminum-silicon alloy. It is manufactured by a powder metallurgy route to refine the microstructure and provide enhanced mechanical properties. This alloy offers a high tensile modulus (approximately 15% higher than AA4032), good strength and excellent fatigue resistance at ambient and elevated temperatures. It can be used as a replacement for conventional aluminum alloys such as AA4032 and AA2618 in a range of applications. AMC4632 may be machined to fine surface finish and tolerances using high speed techniques.

Typical mechanical property data for cold water quenched T6 samples.
