Master Bond EP21D3F2 Two component, high viscosity epoxy system for bonding, sealing and coating
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Epoxy; Epoxy Adhesive

Material Notes: Key Features:
  • Convenient handling
  • Excellent physical strength properties
  • Dimensionally stable
  • Opaque, light white color
Master Bond EP21D3F2 is a high viscosity, two component epoxy system for high performance bonding, sealing and coating. It is formulated to cure at room temperature or more rapidly at elevated temperatures. The optimum cure schedule is overnight at room temperature followed by 1-2 hours at 135-165°F. Its mix ratio is a non-critical four to one by weight. It has exceptionally low linear shrinkage upon cure, less than 0.1%. This system is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or diluents. EP21D3F2 has a superior profile of physical strength properties, notably its tensile modulus. It bonds well to a wide variety of materials including metals, composites, glass, ceramics, rubbers and many plastics. It is a reliable electrical insulator. The service temperature range is -80°F to +250°F. It has good chemical resistance to water, oils and fuels. A special feature of EP21D3F2 is its opaque, light white color and its high optical opacity. This versatile system should be considered in optical applications where the properties described above are required.

Product Advantages:

  • Easy to use
  • High viscosity and flowable
  • Good physical strength properties after curing
  • Special light white coloring with optical opacity
