Huber Hubercarb® Optifil® T Calcium Carbonate Powder, Surface Treated

Material Notes: Hubercarb® W Series Optifil® calcium carbonate has a purity level of 99.3% and is mined from a limestone deposit and processed in Quincy, IL, USA. The W Series products are ideal for applications that require high-filler loadings, low moisture content and silica content below detectable levels. This grade has been surface-modified to enhance end-use performance requiring hydrophobic properties. In addition to being low in silica, these products are also low in trace metals like iron. Low iron content reduces undesirable degradation in some polymer systems.
