Master Bond EP51MFLSP Black Two component room temperature curing epoxy system
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Epoxy; Epoxy Adhesive

Material Notes: Key Features:
  • Convenient handling
  • Exceptionally low viscosity
  • Very rapid curing
  • Good toughness and flexibility
Master Bond EP51MFLSP Black is a two component epoxy system for high performance bonding sealing and coating. Its most outstanding features are the combination of good toughness and flexibility with unusually rapid curing times. Normally, epoxies that cure less rigid have slower curing times but this system has a surprisingly fast rate of polymerization. EP51MFLSP Black, will generally set up in 15-20 minutes and will fully cure in 12-24 hours at room temperature. It has an easy to use one to one mix ratio by weight or volume. The system also features very low viscosity and especially good flow properties. It bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, composites, glass, ceramics and many rubbers and plastics. It has reliable electrical insulation properties and resists chemicals including water, oils and fuels. EP51MFLSP Black withstands rigorous thermal cycling along with mechanical shock and impact. It should be noted that it is cryogenically serviceable with a temperature range from 4K to +250°F. The color of Part A is black and Part B is amber. This epoxy is a viable candidate for aerospace, electronic, fiber-optic, specialty OEM and related applications where toughness, very fast curing and convenient processing is desirable.

Product Advantages:

  • Non-critical one to one mix ratio by weight or volume
  • Very low viscosity
  • Exceptionally fast set up and cure time
  • Dependable electrical insulation properties
  • Cryogenically serviceable down to 4K
