Syensqo (Solvay Specialty Polymers) KetaSpire® KT-880 ACF30 PEEK, 30% carbon fiber
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyketone; Polyetheretherketone (PEEK); Polyetheretherketone, PEEK, Carbon Fiber Filled

Material Notes: KetaSpire® KT-880 CF30 ACF30 is a 30% chopped carbon fiber-reinforced polyetheretherketone (PEEK) product designed for demanding structural engineering applications in a wide range of industries. The product enjoys an attractive combination of high performance properties including, very high strength and stiffness, very high heat deflection temperature along with long term heat aging resistance. Additionally, this material exhibits exceptional chemical resistance and fatigue resistance. The resin offers low melt viscosity for ease of injection molding fabrication. Injection molding processing can be carried out on standard injection molding equipment.

The resin is supplied in pellet form. The pellets are dusted with 0.01% (ppm) calcium stearate to aid with feeding and conveying in the screws of injection molding equipment.

Applications: Aircraft Applications; Automotive Applications; Compressor Parts; Connectors; Electrical/Electronic Applications; Industrial Applications; Oil/Gas Applications; Pump Parts; Seals

Features: Autoclave Sterilizable; Chemical Resistant; E-beam Sterilizable; Ethylene Oxide Sterilizable; Fatigue Resistant; Flame Retardant; Good Dimensional Stability; Good Sterilizability; Heat Sterilizable; High Flow; High Heat Resistance; High Stiffness; High Strength; Radiation (Gamma) Resistant; Radiation Sterilizable; Radiotranslucent; Steam Resistant; Steam Sterilizable

Injection notes: The injection molding guidelines are general purpose. Please consult with your Solvay technical representative for molding details specific to your needs.
