Sandvik SAF 2205 Precision Wire
Categories: Metal; Ferrous Metal; Duplex; Stainless Steel

Material Notes: Sandvik SAF 2205 rig rod for sailing yachts

Sandvik SAF 2205 is a duplex (austenitic/ferritic) stainless steel suitable for service with high resistance against chloride containing environments, surpassing AISI 316 in seawater. The material has high strength, and is thereby very suitable for high strength components in aggressive environments (e.g. rig rod for sailing yachts).
