Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Flextron™ 1055 TPE Thermoplastic Elastomer
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Elastomer, TPE

Material Notes: Flextron™ 1055 Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) shapes excel in applications where superior performance over conventional elastomers is required. This grade in particular displays excellent chemical resistance properties, while maintaining its consistent mechanical capabilities over a broad temperature range. Due to these characteristics, Flextron™ 1055 TPE components are favored as a solution within the transportation and railway industries, where they often replace conventional rubbers and steels in high performance springs that are used in rolling stock buffer, draw gear, and draft gear applications.
