Material Notes: Product Description: Chlorinated Parafinns are secondary & economic range of plasticizers & flexiblizer for PVC. Chlorinated Paraffin (CPS) are straight-chain hydrocarbons that have been chlorinated. Chlorinated Parafinns are produced from chlorination of paraffin made by fractions obtained from petroleum distillation. These are classified according to their carbon chain length (ranging from C10-C20) & level of chlorination (ranging from 40-70%+)

Characteristics & Usages:

  • It is used as plasticizer to impart flexibility and flame retardant property to PVC Compounds, Cables, Footwears, Flooring, Films and Sheets etc. It is used as economic replacement along with Phthalate Plasticizers. The usages ranges from across many PVC application areas
  • Cable Insulation Compounds: Garden Hoses, Flame Retardant, PVC Flexible Gardening Pipes, Pressure Pipes, Housings etc., PVC Plastisol Coating/Artificial Leather Cloth Industries, PVC extrusion/other applications, production of Plastic/Rubber, Metal Cutting/Working Fluids
