Evonik VESTAMID® EX9203 black Nylon 12  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA); Nylon 12 (PA12); Nylon 12, Extrusion/Tubing Grade

Material Notes: Medium-viscosity, halogen-free flame-retardant polyamide 12 compound. VESTAMID® EX9203 black is a medium viscosity, heat-stabilized polyamide 12 and is prepared with an efficient halogen-free flame retardant. VESTAMID® EX9203 black has been developed especially for the extrusion of corrugated tubes and is distinguished by the following characteristics: high impact strength and flexibility, also at low temperatures, especially good flexural fatigue behavior softening by non-migrating polyamide elastomer, good dimensional stability and constant mechanical properties at changing ambient humidity due to low water absorption of polyamide 12, good chemical resistance, good ageing stability. Because of the halogen-free flame retardant the mold temperature should preferably be within a range of 210°C to 230°C, but not higher than 240°C. VESTAMID® EX9203 black is supplied as cylindrical granules, ready for processing in moisture-proof packaging.
