Material Notes: This product is soluble in benzene, chloroform, cyclohexane and other organic solvents, insoluble in water, cold alcohol, slightly soluble in esters. This product is of low toxicity with good thermal stability and extraction of water-resistance, being effective in decomposing the hydrogen peroxide generated during thermal process of polymerization. As a complementary antioxidant, this product has three main functions: first of all, it can react with peroxide to form phosphonate with stable oxidbillity that can not only prevent the chain proliferation of oxidation reaction, but also improve the stability of polymer to light; it can also react with the metallic catalyst left in the polymer to make metal ion lose of activity. In addition, it is a fading agent for quinones because the presence of phenolic antioxidant reacts with the peroxide, resulting in the yellow quinine compounds or methyl quinones to make polymers yellow. By adding Antioxidant YZ-168, the product will react with this coloring material to form a colorless material aryl phosphate.
