Latrobe Lescalloy® 4335+V VAC-ARC High Strength Alloy Steel
Categories: Metal; Ferrous Metal; Alloy Steel; Low Alloy Steel; Carbon Steel; High Carbon Steel

Material Notes: 4335+V VAC-ARC is a low alloy steel with good strength and high hardenability. In addition, uniform properties are obtained in large sections. The alloy can be heat treated to strength values within a wide range and becomes superior to other low alloy steels above the 200,000 psi strength level. Lescalloy 4335+V VAC-ARC steel is produced by the vacuum consumable electrode melting process to provide optimum cleanliness and preferred ingot structure.

Information Provided by Timken Latrobe Steel.

Timken sold Latrobe in December 2006. They are now Latrobe Specialty Steels Co.
