Material Notes: Eastman Eastar™ Renew BR003-30 copolyester is a brilliantly clear copolyester for toothbrushes specifically designed for brands and manufacturers who demand a more sustainable plastic material. Eastar™ Renew BR003- 30 copolyester is identical in clarity, resistance to toothpaste and mouthwash, and in processing ease to Eastar™ BR003, which oral care brands around the world have come to count on for their simple and complex toothbrush designs. Eastman Renew polymers have been certified by International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC), a global, independent agency for tracking sustainable content in a variety of industries. Renew polymers are produced with ISCC certified circular content by mass balance allocation. Under existing United States Food and Drug Administration(FDA) regulations, Eastman Eastar™ Renew BR003 copolyester may lawfully be used to make food contact articles which comply with the specifications and conditions of use in 21 CFR 177.1240. Migration tests on Eastman Eastar™ Renew BR003 copolyester samples meet the compliance requirements of 21 CFR 177.1240(e)(1),(2) and (3). This product has been GREENGUARD INDOOR AIR QUALITY CERTIFIED®. The GREENGUARD INDOOR AIR QUALITY CERTIFIED® Mark is a registered certification mark used under license through the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI). GEI is an industry-independent, non-profit organization that oversees the GREENGUARD Certification Program. The GREENGUARD Certification Program is an industry independent, third party testing program for low-emitting products and materials for indoor environments.
