Material Notes: Impact Copolymer for Extrusion and Compounding Applications (Fractional Melt Flow)

Formolene® 6600A is a high impact copolymer with an excellent balance of toughness and stiffness. It is suitable for compounding programs as well as blow-molded bottles and components, heavy gauge sheet for thermoformed containers and components and profile extrusions.

Formolene® 6600A meets all requirements of the U. S. Food and Drug Administration as specified in 21 CFR 177.1520, covering safe use of polyolefin articles and components of articles intended for direct food contact.

Specimens were injection molded according to the conditions specified in ASTM D4101
