Corning Pyrex® 7740 Borosilicate Glass Sheet  (discontinued **)
Categories: Ceramic; Glass; Optical; Oxide; Silicon Oxide

Material Notes: Corning no longer produces this glass in sheet form, or under the Pyrex® brand name. The glass is available in powder form under the grade 7740.

Pyrex® sheet provides unique chemical, thermal, mechanical, and optical properties. Tempering increases temperature and pressure capability. Used as polished and machined glass wafers for use in the MST/MEMS (Micro Systems Technology/Micro-Electrical-Mechanical Systems) technologies.

Corning has discontinued selling Pyrex® sheet, but still produces this glass in powder form.
